Twist & Turn Designs was established by two Long Island artisans, Dennis and Laura, who share an enthusiasm for creating hand turned custom writing instruments and accessories from exotic hardwoods and acrylics. 

Each item is uniquely designed and handcrafted resulting in distinguished craftsmanship.

Twist & Turn Designs also encompasses a variety of handcrafted needlework products including hand knit items from A to Z, as well as handcrafted accessories such as book covers, wristlets and totes.

 

 

 

How Twist & Turn Designs Got Started

Dennis and Laura have been designing and handcrafting for years, each in their own element...Dennis in woodworking and Laura in needlework.  In addition to knitting and sewing, Laura decided to partner with Dennis in the woodworking arena.  They started creating beautiful pens and pencils from exotic woods and acrylics.  They added letter openers, key chains and stylus products to their repertoire, and progressed to unique pepper & salt mills, candlesticks, wine bottle stoppers, vases, bowls, collapsible baskets, cutting boards and much more. 

Twist & Turn Designs now offers a wide array of custom designed "one of a kind" handcrafted items for everyone and every occasion... birthdays, graduations, wedding events, anniversaries, baby showers, Mother's Day, Father's Day, retirements and more.  The inventory is always changing as newly designed products are introduced.  Check the blog for our fine art show schedule, as well as new product and schedule updates.
